The Caring for Miracles Foundation in seeking to fulfill its mandate to improve Neonatal expertise and care delivery to all newborns, regardless of the place of birth, is pleased to host its second annual Caring for Babies born too soon Symposium: The Golden Hour- the approach to the management of the preterm infant in the first 60 minutes of life.

The evidence is clear that the management of these vulnerable patients during this critical window impacts the trajectory of their lives. The symposium is aimed at all Healthcare providers involved in perinatal and neonatal care, including Obstetricians, Neonatologists, Paediatricians, and Paediatric Residents, Neonatal and Paediatric Nurses and midwives, the Allied Health team, medical students. There will be an opportunity for all attendees to hear from the mother of a premature infant and interface with the expert panel. The general public is welcome

This symposium which will feature a multidisciplinary panel of speakers, as well as the perspective of parents of a premature infant,  seeks to provide attendees with up-to-date evidence on optimizing the mother and baby’s medical management prior to delivery and on the management of the preterm infant during the Golden Hour. The evidence is clear that the management of these vulnerable patients during this critical window impacts the trajectory of their lives.

This is a virtual event. Once you've completed your payment the symposium link will be sent to you in a separate email for registration.
